No More Silence: Voices Against SGBV

No More Silence: Voices Against SGBV

Violence against women and girls is everywhere. In homes, schools, workplaces, streets. And for too long, silence has protected the abuser, not the survivor.

Take Angal, in Pakwach. She was terrified to go back to school after being harassed. She thought no one would listen. Then she found a mentor—someone who believed her, helped her speak up, and guided her to safety.

In Kampala, Nansubuga faced harassment at work. She almost quit—but with support from colleagues, she reported the abuse, and changes began to happen. In Mbale, market women came together to protect one another, to claim respect in spaces that had long ignored them.

These stories are not exceptions. They are reality. And they are proof: change begins when voices rise. This booklet is your invitation to listen, to feel, to act.
